I chose to recreate the book cover for Margaret Atwood's book, "The Year of the Flood," for a school assignment. I wanted to use symbolism on the cover that the reader is able to connect with by reading previous book to "The Year of the Flood," or by reading this book itself. I also wanted to try and be as simple as possible, and use loud, bright colors to attract the eye of viewers.
